Chic & Sassy Blog Counseling
Sometimes I receive emails from bloggers asking me on how to make their blogs more attractive or look a certain way without having to spend any money or very little money. I used to write tips on my blog every now and then but it was hard for me to think of good tips that would be useful for everyone to know that can't be found anywhere else. But after visiting my mother today who watches this talk show called Steven & Chris I had a good idea. At the end of their show they always answer a question about interior design (they seem to also be designers) from either the audience members or mailed in. So, I thought I could do something similar except with blog design where I would pick a few questions I received by email and write my opinions and suggestions on my blog every week. OK I rarely write about random stuff here but I just saw these on TV and thought they were great and so fun! It's for kids but I think I want some too. Handmade Wood puzzles that you can actually play with by turning the pieces into puppets changing the heads and what not. This product is made by a woman at Fidoodle. I really love these, I think they are really creative, nicely designed and so cute!!! She create all the drawings and screens them on the wooden pieces with safe paints for kids.
She makes various other products apart from the puzzles like dream pillows and t-shirts, which are all very kid friendly made from cotton and wool. She calls them artful objects based on stories; some of them, adaptations of classic fairytales and myths, and others, made up.
And to top it all off she's also from Canada based in Toronto. So go check out her stuff on Etsy . Her products are great for original gifts!!!

This week was a busy week
This week I've been working on several follow up art demands for example I've made category buttons for Stiletto Woman, which is a sassy yet, sophisticated inspirational community that exclusively caters to the contemporary woman through empowered communications. You can find a bunch of interesting articles and reviews!
I also made modifications to my chic shopping mommy design by adding a second woman for a beauty review blog. She really liked the original design but wanted a bit more beauty and not just shopping. I also created a fun beauty design this week for The Beauty Couch based on a counseling theme where the woman is lying on a couch thinking about beauty products and writing about them in a journal. A great blog about beauty & makeup products!

Mischo Beauty & Mischo Style
A while back Mischo Beauty asked me to create a makeup design for her and I came up with a very glamorous theme from a bought istock image that she liked a lot and now she decided to revamp an old blog of hers for all her fashion tips and articles called Mischo Style. We worked from a similar image by the same illustrator on istock but this time we made a superb hollywoodian design in black, silver and gold!
