My latest design was for one of my very first customers the Avon Romance Books blog. Throughout the years I have made them several blog designs. The first was a very pink one with several characters sitting around a table discussing books. Since, I have been creating them seasonal ones, which started off with a lovely orange and gold autumn design and then a winter and xmas one and now a brand new chic spring design. If you love reading romance books this is the blog for you! It's run by avon's editors so you get plenty of insider looks on all their hot sassy books!!!

Sexy Corset Lady
I just installed a header design request for a brand new blog called Corsets, Capes and Coffee. I had to draw a sexy lady wearing a corset which was a first for me. And the blogger requested one of my favorite styles. I just love the black and white lined look where only the clothes are in color. I made a fashion design with a similar style a while back which was totally fab!
One new beauty and fitness design
My latest design was for Musings of a Muse who has a fun a informative blog all about cosmetics. You can find great reviews on just about any makeup product available out there and she even tests them out for you to see if it's worth a buy or not. Also she gives out great makeup tips too for those like me whom aren't the greatest at applying makeup! Plus it's super easy finding just the right article you are looking for with her new system categorizing her articles by body part like eyes, lips and face. So go check out her new Chic and Sassy Spring look and stay tune for the summer and autumn looks too!!!
This week I've also created a brand new look for a fitness coach from BeachBody who blogs in order to help everyone reach their health goals with many video tips, pictures and links. Get a fabulous bod at Figuring out Fitness and life with Reesy.

Favicons
Ok for those of you that wear Chic & Sassy designs you might have noticed that your favicon stopped working!!! The service I used to add favicons (.ico files) to blogger is currently down in order to switch servers... Hopefully they will be back up and running shortly!
My gift to my aunt
My aunt is celebrating her 50th birthday in a few weeks. In order to commemorate the event my uncle is throwing a big birthday bash and he asked me to make a nice illustration for the invitations so I'm finishing that today... it's a woman with daisies in her hair. My aunt loves daisies!!! So I think she'll love it!!!
I also just finished a new premade design for the book lovers out there (view it here). I used the pantone spring colors for 2009 and it turned out totally gorgeous and I also implemented something new as well... author comment highlights... Basically, for those you are not aware, it's making the authors on the post page different from the rest of the comments so they stand out. In this design, I added a picture of the character from the header and changed the color of the text... It's totally neat and fun!
Well, as soon as I'm finished the final touched of my aunt's illustration I will be moving on to my next custom, which is a fitness theme... so look forward to it!

Yes Baby, Live Healthy
My latest design was for a social organization fighting to reduce the negative health and developmental outcomes in the lives of children between 0-3 years of age. The mission of Yes Baby, Live Healthy is to ensure children are able to thrive from conception and beyond by promoting preventive care and positive parenting to reduce the risk of mortality, birth defects, critical illness, and maltreatment in the early stages of life. They offer various programs to help mothers and family with the health and care of their children as well as positive parenting! They also take an initiative to fight for health care change and child safety in our society by 1) making healthcare accessible to children 0-3 years of age regardless of parents income,
2) ensuring NO young child is turned away for care due to lack of coverage,
3) advocating for affordable, reliable and comprehensive medical coverage,
4) providing prenatal and preventive care education to mothers of young children,
5) ensuring young children diagnosed with a critical illness receive proper medical treatment.
So please go and visit them ... they offer many ways to help as well as great literature to help you be a great parent! They are also a finalist for the Hello Tomorrow fund! Do not forget to bookmark them!
